If you are searching about the meaning of life, an excellent start would be to read "The Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren. Go to their website www.purposedrivenlife.com and if you sign in you can receive a daily 40 day e-mail.

This book will help you understand why you are alive and God's amazing plan for you - both here and now, and for eternity. Rick Warren will guide you through a 40 day spiritual journey that will transform your answer to life's most important question: What on earth am I here for? Knowing God's purpose for creating you will reduce your stress, focus your energy, simplify your decisions, give meaning to your life, and, most important, prepare you for eternity.

Just Me and the Kids

At Westwood Church

A Safe Place for Single Parents & Children to explore their loss, pain & grief

Single parents have a tough job. Many are struggling to pay the bills, hold a household together, and heal their own emotional wounds. At the same time, their children are wrestling with hurt, guilt, and confusion over a personal world that has been torn apart. How can the church meet these crucial and growing needs?

Just Me and the Kids: Building Healthy Single-Parent Families is an everything-you-need-to-know program born out of years of ministry to single parents and their children. It is specifically designed to enable the church to help the growing number of single-parent families work through the trauma of divorce and find life on the other side. Just Me and the Kids provides leaders what they need to know to bring practical assistance and healing to hurting families in their midst.

Divorce Care
A weekly video series and support group for people who are separated or divorced. It's a place where you can be around others who understand what you are feeling and learn valuable information about ways to heal from the hurt of divorce.

Boundaries
Can I set limits and still be a loving person?

The following questions reflect some of the confusion we Christians may have about boundaries:

  • How do I answer someone who wants my time, love, energy, or money?
  • Is it difficult to hear no from other people?
  • Aren't boundaries selfish?
  • How do boundaries relate to submission?
  • What if someone is upset or hurt by my boundaries?
  • Why do I feel guilty or afraid when I consider setting boundaries?
  • What are legitimate boundaries?
  • Do I tend to want to control other people when I don't get what I want?
  • Can I set limits and still be a loving person?

Which of these questions have you wondered about?

Which questions do you especially want answers for?

The goal of Boundaries is to help you use biblical boundaries appropriately so that you can experience the relationships and achieve the purposes that God intends for you as his child. We4stwood Church is where you will find this program, see
